### The Chicagoland Estonians on 22 June gathered at the Chicago Estonian House in Riverwoods, IL, to celebrate Midsummer Day in a proper Estonian way with potato salad and shashlik and lots of folk music and dancing.

Hundreds of Estonians and their descendants – from babies to seniors – gathered on the lawn of the Chicago Estonian House to eat, drink, dance and, of course, light a bonfire. People from all over Chicagoland and even beyond got a proper Estonian Midsummer celebration with traditional Estonian foods, European beer and entertainers, some of whom came all the way from Estonia.

Estonian World brings you some photo and video highlights from the party.
