### The vice president of the United States, Mike Pence, is to visit Estonia at the end of July.

In Tallinn, the capital of Estonia, Pence will meet with the Estonian prime minister, Jüri Ratas, and other officials to discuss bilateral issues, the White House said in a statement.

Pence will also meet the Kersti Kaljulaid, the president of Estonia, her Latvian counterpart, Raimonds Vējonis, and the Lithuanian president, Dalia Grybauskaite.

After Estonia, the vice president will travel to Georgia where he’s going to meet with the country’s officials, and visit US and Georgian troops participating in the Noble Partner exercise.

Pence will end his European tour in Montenegro, where he’s meeting the local officials and also participating with leaders from across the Western Balkans in an Adriatic Charter summit.

The vice president will so far be the highest official of the current US administration to visit Estonia. In the past, both president Barack Obama and George W. Bush visited Estonia.
