Will Write For Food (WWFF), the Tallinn-based alliance of freelance writers and editors, is to host a regional meeting of English-language writers, editors, journalists and content buyers in the Estonian capital.
According to the organisers, the event is northern Europe’s first-ever gathering of its kind, where experiences, best practices and information are shared, and where writers find clients and marketing pros and editors find writers.
“As the Nordic marketplace become more international, the need for English-language content grows. Companies become de facto publishers, with the need to supply content for a variety of new media, as well as the traditional. WWFF’s Content Congress 2016 is the meeting place for professionals from all sides of the table,” Scott Diel, a Tallinn-based writer and one of the organisers behind the event, said.
WWFF is a grass-roots alliance that came into being when several English-language freelance writers and editors in the region wished to create a framework for the exchange of experiences, news, and ideas.
