Russell Snyder

Russell Snyder, a native of California, has always been interested in other cultures. At 21, he took a 44-day trip to Europe, which only whetted his appetite for travel. The next year he returned to Europe for a six-month backpacking expedition. The year after that, he spent six months going around the world. In 1982, he moved to Finland for a one-year stay and ended up living there until February 2016, when he moved to Estonia. Snyder works as a journalist and a writer.
