Estonian startup Pipedrive raises USD50 million in a new investment round

The Estonian CRM and sales software startup, Pipedrive, has closed a USD50 million investment round, led by Insight Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners, with additional participation from Rembrandt Venture Partners and Atomico.

Insight Venture Partners is a new investor for Pipedrive; the other participants had already previously invested in the company.

The investment will help the startup to further expand its research and development, accelerate customer growth and explore strategic acquisitions, the company said in a statement. The new investment round brings Pipedrive’s total venture capital funding to date to USD80 million.

“By leveraging our investors’ expertise and spirit for building disruptive, global tech companies, our capacity to invest in new functionalities, conquer new markets and help thousands more teams sell with certainty and efficiency has never been stronger,” Timo Rein, the CEO of Pipedrive, said in a statement.

Pipedrive, headquartered in New York and Tallinn, is a creator of a software tool for salespeople in scaling companies. The company, founded in 2010, has over 75,000 customers in 170 countries.
