Tanja Porčnik is a Senior Fellow of the Fraser Institute specialising in economic and human freedom studies. She is also an adjunct scholar at the Cato Institute in the United States and the president of the Visio Institute in Slovenia. She was formerly a senior fellow of the Atlas Economic Research Foundation and before that a Government Teaching Fellow of the American Institute on Political and Economic Systems in Prague, Czech Republic. Her articles on human rights, law and economic policy appear regularly in printed media, and she is a frequent commentator on television and radio. Porčnik is currently working on her Ph.D. dissertation in American Studies at the University of Ljubljana, Slovenia.
