A user survey of Estonian World is conducted as part of a bachelor’s thesis at Tallinn University; please take a moment to answer a few questions about your readership habits and expectations.

  1. I was in Tallinn after the Estonia was free. Walking through the streets not paying attention to where was, heard the national anthem being played in evening. I was at the base of Herman’s tower. Looked up to watch the flag taken down for the night. I cried. My Mom and Dad had died some years earlier and never lived to see that day. They left Estonia, Russians coming in one way and Germans the other. Is how they told it. My heart still goes back to where my parents called home.
