US Senator John McCain, the chairman of the Senate Armed Services Committee, is to visit Estonia on 27 and 28 December, leading a delegation of senators.
The delegation will include, in addition to the Republican Senator McCain of Arizona, the Republican Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina and the Democratic Senator Amy Klobuchar of Minnesota.
The delegation will meet the Estonian president, Kersti Kaljulaid; the prime minister, Jüri Ratas; and other officials to discuss regional security and NATO plans in Estonia.
The commander-in-chief of the Estonian Defence Forces, Lieutenant General Riho Terras will award McCain the Cross of Merit of Estonian Defence Forces for his significant contribution in strengthening the defence and security of Estonia.
This visit is part of a larger regional trip, which will also include stops in Latvia, Lithuania, Ukraine, Georgia, and Montenegro.
McCain has always been a close ally to Estonia and has visited the country before. His visit comes at a crucial time for Estonia – as the new administration of president-elect Donald Trump is taking shape, it’s not known if or how the US foreign policy, especially its relations with Russia, is going to change.

Katherine- you are very stupid
The American filthy senators should stop meddling in affairs of other countries while they accuse Russians of doing the same in other countries
Bruno, How much is the Kremlin paying you to be a troll?
Donald we are all on the same side.
McCain and his dragqueen Lindsay Graham don’t have any rights
going on their own meddling in affairs and telling NATO to bomb Russia.
Katherine, you can’t spell. Good riddance.
