Gilbert Morris
Gilbert NMO Morris is a philosopher, legal scholar, economist and former diplomat. He has worked as a professor at George Mason University, where he taught in four faculties. He was also the senior economic advisor to the minister of finance and the chairman of the National Investment Agency and the National Bank of Turks and Caicos Islands. He was the principal advisor to Madame Wu Yi, the former vice premier of China, in which capacity he wrote the largest study of its kind on “Multi-modal Shipping and Distribution” in 2003. He was appointed special envoy from the Office of the Premier of Turks and Caicos to the House of Lords, the UK. He was educated at the London School of Economics and has written seven books, the latest of which is “The Criminalisation of Financial Centres” (fall 2018). You can follow him on Twitter.
