Jüri Toomepuu

Lieutenant Colonel Jüri Toomepuu is an Estonian journalist and politician whose family fled from the Soviet occupation and settled in the United States. He fought in the Korean War, served during the Vietnam War and was awarded the Distinguished Service Cross. Toomepuu also played a great role in helping restore the Estonian Defence League, and was a member of the seventh legislature of the Estonian parliament. He’s 93 years old, lives in Florida and writes articles.
