Laura Key is a third-generation British Estonian living in Manchester. She has had a lifelong involvement with the UK Estonian community, volunteering each summer as a leader at the UK Estonian summer camp and acting as a committee member for IES Tulevik, an organisation that seeks to uphold the Estonian language among expats and their descendants. Laura runs her own proofreading, editing and copywriting business and has had a lifelong fascination with language and the written word.
