Eneko García-Amezaga, the Barcelona-based Spanish artist, was captivated by a mesmerising Estonian scenery and shot a stunning video.
García-Amezaga visited Estonia in last June and captured a number of aerial images with a drone. “I found a beautiful country and great people,” the artist said on his Facebook page.
He explained that he drove 2,200 kilometres (1,370 miles) during the 11-day road trip around Estonia, visiting the following places: Tallinn, Paldiski, Haapsalu, Hiiumaa and Saaremaa islands, Matsalu, Soomaa and Lahemaa national parks, Pärnu, Viljandi, Põltsamaa, Võrtsjärv lake, Otepää, Sangaste, Valga, Võru, Rõuge, Suur Munamägi (the highest hill in Estonia), Tartu, Mustvee, Lake Peipus, Kuremäe, Narva, Narva-Jõesuu, Ontika and Rakvere.
García-Amezaga’s video, using Estonian folk singer Mari Kalkun’s song as a musical background, has already won praise by many viewers for its professional execution and sound quality.
