Estonia’s Milrem to present its unmanned ground vehicle to Americans

The Estonian defence solutions provider, Milrem, is to showcase its hybrid unmanned ground vehicle (UGV) to key American defence suppliers.

The company will join the Estonian prime minister, Taavi Rõivas, in his visit to the United States next week. As part of a delegation of renowned Estonian defence and technology companies, Milrem will present its THeMIS modular infantry system to US defence suppliers.

The three-city tour – Boston, MA; Washington, DC; and Raleigh, NC – will feature stops at important government agencies, contactors and incubators, the company said in a statement.

In Washington, the company will present its UGV at the US-Estonia Symposium on Cybersecurity and Defence Cooperation. That event is scheduled for 22 March at the George Washington University.

Milrem first unveiled its THeMIS (Tracked Hybrid Modular Infantry System) unmanned vehicle at the Singapore Airshow in February.

Milrem is an Estonian defence solutions provider specialising in military engineering, repairing and maintenance, established in 2013.
