Estonian audio solutions startup wins a prestigious award

The Estonian audio solutions startup, Estelon, has received the prestigious Red Dot Product Design award 2017 for its model YB loudspeakers.

The Red Dot product design award, that has been given out for over 60 years and has developed into an internationally recognised “sign of quality”, as Estelon put it in a statement, was awarded to the Estonian company over 5,500 works from 54 different countries that were presented to the Red Dot’s 47 categories this year.

According to the company, the award-winning model YB speakers “comprise of a left and a right speaker, which almost seem to communicate with each other and have been widely appraised for creating a surreal listening experience of being at the concert itself like never before”.

The Red Dot Design Award is an international product design and communication design prize awarded by the Design Zentrum Nordrhein Westfalen in Essen, Germany. There are prize categories for product design, design agencies and design concepts.
